Soccer Game Preview: King's Academy vs. Pinewood

The King's Academy Knights will face off against the Pinewood Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pinewood took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on King's Academy, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, King's Academy narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Silver Creek 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Pinewood was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Cupertino, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three goals.

Pinewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for King's Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-2.

King's Academy took their win against Pinewood in their previous matchup back in May of 2021 by a conclusive 3-0. Will King's Academy repeat their success, or does Pinewood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
