Football Game Preview: Poly Engineers vs. City College Black Knights + How To Watch

Poly is 0-10 against City College since November of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Engineers will challenge the Black Knights at 12:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Poly's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Patterson 40-0. The Engineers haven't had any issues with the Clippers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask City College). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-8 victory over Green Street Academy. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Black Knights had established a 34-point advantage.

The win got City College back to even at 4-4. As for Poly, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Poly took a serious blow against City College in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 40-0. Can the Engineers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
