Franklin County dropped down to 14-21 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frankfort Panthers. The Flyers were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Panthers' pitchers proved too tough.
As for Frankfort, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-14 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games.
