Softball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cor Jesu Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Owls fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 7-5 on Friday. The Owls have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Cor Jesu Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Windsor will take on Oakville at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Owls 4, the Tigers 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Cor Jesu Academy, they will face off against Marquette at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
