Nigel Gooden Game Report: @ Mt. Vernon

For the first time in his career, Nigel Gooden scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 38 yards and one score, helping propel Cahokia past Mt. Vernon by a score of 42-18. We rated that as his best performance since August 29th, when he threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards.

Coming up, Gooden and Cahokia will challenge Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gooden will face off against Archie Goewey, the Orphans' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
