Recap: Murrieta Mesa Rams vs. Westwood Warriors
On Saturday, it was close, but Murrieta Mesa sidestepped Westwood for a 41-39 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Murrieta Mesa.
Murrieta Mesa had a senior duo take command as Miranda Moore scored 15 points and Kristina Mejares scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Thrower, who scored 6 points.
The victory got Murrieta Mesa back to even at 4-4. As for Westwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Murrieta Mesa will take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Heritage's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Westwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shadow Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
