Fall River has gone a perfect 10-0 against Rio recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will head out to take on the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Fall River has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 21.

Fall River lost 16-4 to Green Lake/Princeton on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Ethan Stai was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Rio was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against Parkview, falling 9-1. Rio hasn't had much luck with Parkview recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Rio saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Indiana Desjarlais, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. Nolan Proebstle also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Rio's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Fall River, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Fall River beat Rio 10-6 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
