Soccer Recap: Silverado Comes Up Short

The matchup between Silverado and Rialto on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Silverado Hawks came up short against the Rialto Knights, falling 10-1. The Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Simone Barnes, which was the first she's scored this season.

Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rialto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Silverado wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Rosamond on the 7th. Rialto has also already played their next matchup, a 7-0 win against Eisenhower on the 11th.
