Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bishop Neumann walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Kearney Catholic Stars 8-7. The win was nothing new for the Cavaliers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Addison Sylliaasen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven earned runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aubrey Fujan was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Kylie Choutka, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Bishop Neumann's victory bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Kearney Catholic, they moved to 28-6 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Bishop Neumann nor the Stars have any future games scheduled.
