Recap: Buena Bulldogs vs. Rio Mesa Spartans
The Buena Bulldogs can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rio Mesa 64-22 on the road. 64 seems to be a good number for Buena as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Karisma Lewis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with seven steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Skye Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Buena has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Rio Mesa, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-18.
Buena will take on Pacifica at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Pacifica has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Buena will arrive with four straight wins. As for Rio Mesa, they will head out on the road to challenge Ventura at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ventura has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 332 points over their last five matchups.
