Basketball Recap: Line Mountain Takes a Loss

Line Mountain was the 47-34 winner over Southern Columbia Area when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Line Mountain Eagles took a hard 59-41 fall against the Southern Columbia Area Tigers on Saturday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Line Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Southern Columbia Area, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Line Mountain and Millersburg will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Line Mountain is facing Millersburg at the right time seeing as Millersburg is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Southern Columbia Area will take on Danville in a holiday battle at at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
