Softball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Turner Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in August.

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Turner, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Marietta wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Wynnewood on the 8th. As for Turner, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dickson at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
