Soccer Recap: Manual Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Manual was not quite Abingdon/Avon's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 3-2. Manual haven't had much luck with Abingdon/Avon recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Manual's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Abingdon/Avon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3-1.

Manual has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Urbana on the 11th. As for Abingdon/Avon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Riverdale on the 11th.
