Baseball Game Preview: Cheektowaga Warriors vs. East Aurora Blue Devils

Cheektowaga hasn't had much luck against East Aurora recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Cheektowaga has given up an average of 14.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cheektowaga fell victim to Frontier and their airtight pitching crew last Monday. They lost 23-0 to the Falcons.

Cheektowaga saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Aponte, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Aponte has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Meanwhile, East Aurora had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Eagles.

Cheektowaga's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for East Aurora, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
