Berkeley is 7-0-1 against Encinal since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Berkeley Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Encinal Jets at 6:30 p.m. Berkeley's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Berkeley took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Piedmont a 1-0 shutout. The Yellowjackets wouldn't have won without Mia Sieminski, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Encinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Alameda, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Jets were already down 3-0.

Encinal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Berkeley, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-4.

Berkeley took their victory against Encinal in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 7-0. Does Berkeley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Encinal turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
