Football Recap: North County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 49-7 defeat at the hands of the Glen Burnie Gophers. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Gophers are ranked 48th).

Raheim Mitchell threw for 69 yards and one TD. Josiah Bryant was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Marcus Grant rushed for 50 yards.

North County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Glen Burnie, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, North County will square off against Old Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 5.5 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Glen Burnie, they will face off against Broadneck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
