Softball Recap: Timnath Cubs vs. Weld Central Rebels
Timnath barely beat Weld Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cubs were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Rebels on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Cubs, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Lily Miller made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Miller was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double.
