Baseball Recap: Terrell Academy Comes Up Short

If Terrell Academy was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Fullington Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 14-5 to the Westwood Wildcats on Thursday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 16-5.

Terrell Academy's record now sits at 10-12. As for Westwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Terrell Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westwood, they will venture away from home to face off against Southwest Georgia Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
