Soccer Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

After flying high against Griffin last Saturday, Northside came back down to earth. The Northside Eagles fell just short of the Veterans Warhawks by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Veterans, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Northside will square off against Coffee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Veterans, they will take on Thomas County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Veterans' last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
