The Pipestone Arrows will venture away from home to square off against the Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country Giants at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Pipestone's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 41-0 win over Sibley East. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Arrows' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Wolverines are ranked 224th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country). They claimed a resounding 63-6 victory over Windom.

Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.7 points over those games. As for Pipestone, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Pipestone was able to grind out a solid win over Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 19-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Arrows since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
