Auburn waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Falls City Tigers as they made off with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Gretchen Paschal, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Darnell, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Auburn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Falls City only posted an OBP of .062.

Auburn's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Falls City, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Auburn has already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Freeman on the 27th. As for Falls City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-9 defeat against Syracuse on the 29th.
