Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Tri-Valley had lost four straight headed into Tuesday's game, but Avery Miller didn't let it get to five. The Tri-Valley Bulldogs breezed by the Nativity BVM Green Wave to the tune of 50-11 on Tuesday thanks in part to Miller, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 16.6 points per game.

Faith Artz was another key player, putting up six points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Tri-Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Nativity BVM, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

When Tri-Valley and Nativity BVM next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tri-Valley will try to stop Marian Catholic's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Nativity BVM will try to stop Williams Valley's three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
