Soccer Game Preview: Woodlake vs. Lindsay

Woodlake hasn't had much luck against Lindsay recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Woodlake face off against the Lindsay at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, neither Woodlake nor Granite Hills could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Lindsay made sure to put some goals up on the board against Strathmore on Tuesday. They blew past the Spartans 4-1. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Strathmore with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaylene Magana, Valeria Martinez, Gizel Olmos, and Camila Nieto.

Lindsay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those eight games. Woodlake's draw makes their record 15-3-5 this season.

Woodlake suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Lindsay in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Woodlake avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
