Kiefer had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Sperry Pirates as they made off with a 13-4 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Kiefer's win bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Sperry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kiefer beat Sperry by a score of 12-4 later that day.
