Basketball Recap: Destiny Christian Academy Lions vs. El Camino Eagles
After flying high against Woodland last Thursday, Destiny Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Destiny Christian Academy Lions took a 46-29 bruising from the El Camino Eagles on Friday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Leading El Camino to victory were Calista Wold and Maraia Rokosiga. Wold dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Rokosiga earned 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Stake, who put up nine points and three steals.
Destiny Christian Academy's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8. As for El Camino, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-6.
