Baseball Recap: McNair Comes Up Short

Lithonia hit McNair with a seven-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 10-9. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Kevin Andrews was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

McNair now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lithonia, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, McNair will host Atlanta Classical Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lithonia, they will head out on the road to challenge Stone Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
