Basketball Game Preview: Kelseyville Knights vs. Fort Bragg Timberwolves

The Kelseyville Knights will head out to take on the Fort Bragg Timberwolves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Kelseyville sitting on four straight victories and Fort Bragg on six.

Kelseyville took a 25-point defeat the last time they faced off against Cloverdale, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Kelseyville skirted past Cloverdale 40-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since January 19, 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Bragg). They came out on top against St. Helena by a score of 61-50 on Tuesday.

Fort Bragg's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points over those games. As for Kelseyville, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.

Kelseyville beat Fort Bragg 54-42 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kelseyville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
