Soccer Game Preview: Mills vs. Terra Nova

Mills is 0-9 against Terra Nova since January of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will face off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Mills fell victim to Oceana and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Terra Nova kept a clean sheet against South San Francisco on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 1-0. The victory continues a trend for Terra Nova in their matchups with South San Francisco: they've now won three in a row.

Terra Nova's one-goal win came courtesy of Lily Farmer, which was the first she's scored this season.

Mills now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Terra Nova, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

Mills suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Terra Nova in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
