Carley Steinspring Game Report: vs Sioux City North

Jefferson had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Carley Steinspring sure wasn't going down easily. Steinspring tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance marked the fewest hits she has had over her last 16 matchups.

Even though Steinspring couldn't lead Jefferson over Sioux City North, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since June of 2023, but a win here would be a good start.
