Football Game Preview: Rome Wolves vs. Jackson County Panthers + How To Watch

The Rome Wolves will take on the Jackson County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a ten-game winning streak alive.

Rome is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Houston County by a score of 38-28. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Wolves were the (much) better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Jackson County was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They secured a 24-19 W over Milton.

Rome better keep an eye on Daylan Maxwell. He was instrumental in Jackson County's win, rushing for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 36 receiving yards. Maxwell is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Jackson County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 218 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in ten consecutive contests.
