Soccer Recap: South Pasadena Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

South Pasadena and La Mirada squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but South Pasadena had to settle for second. They fell just short of the La Mirada Matadores by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Pasadena's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for La Mirada, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
