Soccer Recap: Chavez Takes a Loss

Chavez lost against Monroe back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chavez Eagles fell just short of the Monroe Vikings by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

Chavez dropped their record down to 0-13-2 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Monroe, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7-3.

Chavez will venture away from home to take on Verdugo Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monroe, they will host North Hollywood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
