Jace Poppell was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Coastal HomeSchool's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 7-1 (and 4-11 when he doesn't).
