Softball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Comes Up Short

After flying high against Columbus on Monday, St. Anne-Pacelli came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Strong Rock Christian Patriots on Thursday, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

St. Anne-Pacelli now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Strong Rock Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. St. Anne-Pacelli will face off against rival Westfield School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Strong Rock Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Brookstone at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
