Softball Recap: Washington County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Washington County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Coming up, Washington County will face off against Putnam County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomas Jefferson Academy, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
