Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Prospect

Fremd typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Prospect proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 56-48. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Vikings back in January, they had to take a 45-42 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prospect to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zoe Black, who posted 17 points and three steals. Black is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Allison Linke was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Prospect was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are 15-5 when they've passed the ball that well.

The victory was the third in a row for Prospect, bringing their record up to 16-10. As for Fremd, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prospect is set to face off against their familiar foe Hersey at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fremd will square off against rival Barrington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
