Soccer Recap: Valencia Comes Up Short

Valencia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Hornets. If Valencia were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Highland when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valencia's goal came courtesy of Pecos Jones, who's now up to 15 this season.

Valencia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Highland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-9.

Valencia didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against Chaparral on the 4th. As for Highland, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against St. Pius X on the 7th.
