Softball Recap: Shiloh Generals vs. Osborne Cardinals
Shiloh's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Osborne Cardinals with a sharp 21-6 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Generals needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Shiloh got a massive performance out of Amaya Erby, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Erby has posted since back in September of 2024. Lianie Jarquin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.
Shiloh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .526 that Osborne posted.
The victory got Shiloh back to even at 1-1.
Looking ahead, Shiloh is taking a road trip to take on Greater Atlanta Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Osborne, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
