Softball Recap: Twin River Takes a Loss

Twin River fell victim to Yutan-Mead and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Patriots. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Titans, who until this matchup were averaging 3.5 runs allowed.

Twin River's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Yutan-Mead, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Twin River will square off against rival NEN at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 3.5, NEN 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Yutan-Mead is set to challenge their familiar foe Raymond Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
