Preview: Hanford Bullpups vs. Lemoore Tigers
Hanford is 9-1 against Lemoore since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hanford Bullpups will head out on the road to square off against the Lemoore Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Hanford is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lemoore in California (Hanford is ranked 440th, while Lemoore is ranked 886th).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-41, which was the final score in Hanford's tilt against Mission Oak on Wednesday. Hanford has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Lemoore made off with a 48-47 win over Tulare Western. The victory was just what Lemoore needed coming off of a 67-41 loss in their prior match.
Hanford now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Lemoore, their victory bumped their record up to 6-18.
Everything went Hanford's way against Lemoore when the teams last played back in January as Hanford made off with a 59-37 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hanford since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
