Volleyball Recap: Iowa Colony Comes Up Short

Iowa Colony lost against London back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1.

Kendal White paced Iowa Colony's offense, picking up 11 kills. White got some help from Breia Dixon and her 25 assists. Janae Garner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Iowa Colony's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for London, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Iowa Colony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Johnson City on the 22nd. As for London, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Seguin on the 22nd.
