Softball Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short at Home Against Sand Creek

Palmer unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 23-0 to the Sand Creek Scorpions on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Terrors in their meetings with the Scorpions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Sand Creek's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Palmer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-2 loss against Florence on the 2nd. As for Sand Creek, they will take on Cheyenne Mountain in a tournament on Friday.
