Basketball Recap: Centre County Christian Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Centre County Christian Academy came into Friday's matchup having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 40-36 win over the Great Commission Bears on Friday.

Great Commission's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Allison Hall, who posted six points along with nine boards and eight steals, and Alexa Hall, who put up 11 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Bordack, who earned six points along with five boards and four steals.

Centre County Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Great Commission, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Centre County Christian Academy will challenge Columbia County Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Great Commission, they will welcome Belleville Mennonite at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
