Basketball Recap: Folsom Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Folsom couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took an 84-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Folsom's defeat dropped their record down to 26-5. As for San Joaquin Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Folsom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Joaquin Memorial, they will take on Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Joaquin Memorial has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
