Basketball Game Preview: Lakeside Lancers vs. Arlington Lions

The Lakeside Lancers will take on the Arlington Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlington took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeside, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Lakeside made easy work of Vista del Lago and carried off a 50-24 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.

Lakeside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angela Serrano, who posted 13 points and five steals. Aeiress Hearn was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 37-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Citrus Hill.

Lakeside's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
