Basketball Recap: Glendora Skates Past Northview with Ease + How To Watch

Glendora won the last time they faced Northview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tartans really took it to the Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-23 win. With the Tartans ahead 40-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Reagan Herrmann was nothing short of spectacular: she posted 15 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Mia Reyes was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 16 points.

Glendora smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Northview's loss came despite strong showings from Ariana (Ari) Sanchez and Chloe Flores. Sanchez put up eight points along with eight boards and four steals, while Flores earned six points and five assists. Sanchez has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played.

Glendora's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Glendora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-39 win against Hillcrest on the 19th. As for Northview, they have also already played their next contest, a 32-30 loss against Diamond Ranch on the 21st.
