Baseball Recap: Rome Comes Up Short

Rome lost to New Manchester back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves fell just short of the Jaguar by a score of 9-8. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rome's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for New Manchester, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-5.

Coming up, New Manchester will head out to challenge South Paulding at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. Rome will be paying especially close attention to the Jaguar's contest: after the Jaguar face off against the Spartans, they'll take on Rome again at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
