Bald Eagle Area scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 57-48 to the Chestnut Ridge Lions. The Eagles lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 54-21 score last time.

Chestnut Ridge found their leader in freshman Leah Vent, who shot 6-for-8 from long range and dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Vent a new career-high in blocks (two). Daisy Moyer was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Bald Eagle Area's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Chestnut Ridge, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-18.
