Soccer Game Preview: Colony vs. San Dimas

The Colony Titans will venture away from home to challenge the San Dimas Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Colony's offense. They came up short against South Hills on Wednesday, falling 6-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, San Dimas kept a clean sheet against Los Altos on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Conquerors 1-0. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Conquerors are ranked 585th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for San Dimas and bumps their season record up to 7-3-2. As for Colony, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Colony might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from San Dimas in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Colony avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
