Recap: Northwest Area Rangers vs. Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights
The Northwest Area Rangers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Wyoming Seminary College Prep on Monday, falling 53-15. Northwest Area was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-4.
Karsyn Miner was Northwest Area's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Jordin Bowman held things down on the boards with 13 rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Northwest Area's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Area will take on MMI Preparatory School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully MMI Preparatory School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Saturday. As for Wyoming Seminary College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Old Forge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
